How much important music is to me?
In every sphere of life it is available and free
Why is it so that fruits are so dear to the tree?
Do we mean it is purely an attachment to see?
Is there any magic music can deliver to human being
Is it confined to ordinary street singers and not to kings?
Can any one claim hegemony or control over it?
Is it not the glimmer of hope in the dimly light?
I wondered at all the aspects and understood the impact
It is divine drink and can turn human being in fact
Can this precious gift be taken over by any religious sect?
Is it not our Endeavor to see that it remain in tact?
It has delivered wonders to bring new lease of life or energy
It may so happen that people may turn happy and not feel gloomy
It has to be realized in its essence and understood fully
Then we may be in position to deliver it truly
It generates coolness with morning breeze
Ears come to the sense and feelings don't freeze
You look around to see the beautiful world
Your surge ahead with resolve and not feel cold
Can we not keep it as eternal and preserve?
Can we not wipe out tears of poor and serve?
Can we sell I cheaply for use it only for selfish end?
Is it not divine gift to be offered to all and sent?
Dead can be brought alive if served as tonic?
It will be nice if it is termed purely as music
Prayers and hymns are pure form of music and sung
It may be worth while...

Great 80s Music Hits
When most people think of the 80s they do not have very fond memories of the music that was on the air at the time. We tend to think of the 70s as the "disco" era and the 60s as the time when rock music developed. The 60s were the days of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, and a host of other great bands that we now think of as the seminal groups in rock history. But the 80s were a different story and do not get the respect that many experts think it should.
80s music hits included great bands like Tears for Fears and their fantastic international number one hit "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Shout". Who can forget Simple Minds and "Don't You Forget About Me"? There were plenty of great groups making 80s music hits that just don't get the credit they deserve.
There were modern pop groups too like Pet Shop Boys and their huge 80s music hit "East End Boys and West End Girls" or the digital Depeche Mode with "Strange Love", "Policy of Truth", "Personal Jesus" and "Route 66". Other cult bands with truly great musicians sprang up like The Cure and their hit "Just Like Heaven".
The 80s was also the time of bands such as the Psychedelic Furs and their big 80s music hit "Pretty in Pink" from the movie of the same name. There was also R.E.M. and their song "Losing My Religion" which was in many ways responsible for the proliferation of 90s style Modern Rock.
80s music hits were not limited to Pop music, but were also being created by bonafide rock bands such as Duran Duran with their hit "Rio" and also Bon Jovi with what many consider one of the best of the 80s music hits "Livin' On A Prayer". And who will ever forget Guns n' Roses with "Sweet Child of Mine" which sounds as fresh today as it was back then.
The 80s were also the time of Michael Jackson, Prince, and Madonna, three giants of the industry who continued to churn out hit after hit for many years. Prince's "Purple Rain" was just the right blend of rock and soul and the big hit from the album was "Let's Go Crazy". U2 began in the 80s and their songs "With or Without You" and "Pride (In the Name of Love) from their giant album The Joshua Tree began a long string of massive 80s music hits for them.
Whimsical music was also the order of the day and groups like Wham and their hit "Careless Whispers" topped the charts. A-Ha, a pop group from Sweden also rocked on with their big hit "Take on Me".
There were some extremely dark songs as well like the moody "Voices Carry" by Til Tuesday, a one hit wonder. The Fixx added their fiery brand of rock with "Red Skies at Night".

Imagine What You Can Achieve With Music Schools
Well-known as a giant in the music industry, California is the entertainment capital of the planet. Hotel California, one of the most famous hits in music to date was called after the city. That song struck #37 on the Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of all time and is created by Don Henley and The Eagles. "Some of the wilder interpretations of that song have been amazing. It was really about the excesses of American culture and certain girls we knew. But it was also about the uneasy balance between art and commerce," all these are the accurate phrases of Don Henley when he was interviewed by the London Daily Mail on November 9, 2007.
Back in 1974 in Malibu, Don leased a beach house on a wonderful, sun-drenched day in July and influenced him to create that song. He picked up his 12 string guitar and away of it came the song. Starting from that day it took the Eagles 8 months of polishing take after take until they were delighted with it. Considering it is one of the most well-known songs in music history, seems like the time frame was well worth spending.
The music industry is an enjoyable area as The Eagles can certainly testify. Yet in order to have a flourishing journey, proper training, understanding and contacts are necessary. Luck is a planning meeting opportunity, as what some individuals point out. If that is correct, then it is crucial to pick out the correct school since one really has to get ready for this field of study.
It is very crucial to think about either you want a degree or acquiring a hands-on experience quickly, also whether you want to turn out to be a music producer, recording engineer, music manager, publisher, songwriter or any of the numerous other music related occupation options. With many California music schools, the student will acquire an Associate's or Bachelor's degree when his education and learning is finished. If the student desires a degree, then there are different institutions and universities that have music recording and production majors and minors. Some of them also possess recording studios which permits the student to get acquainted with the correct software, equipment and conditions that they will be doing work in, in the long run.
In the highly competitive music business, accomplishing superb technical abilities is quite essential. There are colleges that have an optional form of training that believe that the only manner to get the ability needed is to understand within the confines of a working music studio. According to their philosophy, studying through a hands-on method is the moment the student discovers the most.
These sorts of learning institutions also feel that the mentor-apprentice relationship is essential for the ultimate in understanding and learning about music recording and production. Through this "partnership" the student is nurtured by the mentor as well as introduced to numerous of his business contacts that can tremendously assist the student in the future. These California music schools are ideal for students who wants to start studying in a real working atmosphere instantly, they merely need to study beyond the classroom environment.

A Review of Musicnotes - Digital Sheet Music Dealer
Are you a musician? Can you find the sheet music you want? If you are anything like me, then the answer is no. Although the town I live in isn't that small, there still isn't a large selection of stores when it comes to music. There is only one small music store that I go to (and only on rare occasions) when I need something immediately, like guitar strings for example.
When I want to buy sheet music though, that little shop isn't much help. There is only a small selection of sheet music for the most popular genres and most popular instruments. If you want to play Beethoven piano arrangements then you are fine, but if you want something else then you are out of luck.
I couldn't find what I wanted in my area, so shopping online was my only alternative. After trying different online sheet music dealers I finally came across one that I really liked-Musicnotes. This website offered instant digital sheet music and I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't sure how "digital" music works.
I found out that it was really easy to do it though. In order for the digital sheet music to work, you do need to have special sheet music software, but you can download that for free on the Musicnotes website. After downloading the free software I began searching through the music database. It was completely different from my local music store!
This site has thousands of songs to download the sheets for, and in many different genres. The quality of the site is great and I have never had interest in buying from a local store again. It is easy to buy exactly what I want and I don't even have to leave the house. I can find a song, download the sheet music, and learn it right away.
At first I was leery about the musicnotes player software, but now love it! It has many features that help you to learn songs such as being able to transpose, change the tempo, or learn one part of the song at a time.
The only downside I can see with this program is that you have to be on a computer for these features to work. But, if you want you can print off the sheet music like you normally would. Since I use a digital piano, I usually just slide that up next to my computer so I can use the software though, it really is a big help.

Rocking Tips in Hiring Rock 'n' Roll Bands
Rock music had been dominating the music world from the 50s up to the turn of the 21st century. From the King of Rock, Elvis Presley, who had taken the world by storm, rock music had revolved greatly over the years. Rock music had been refined and enhanced to fit the music cravings of the modern generation. But, may it be timeless rock music from Elvis Presley or the latest rock 'n' roll, rock music are sure to rock the house.
Hiring a rock and roll band is not as easy as 'one, two, three o'clock, eight o'clock rock'. It is a challenging task. But, you need not worry. Here are great tips to make the task simpler and more fun.
Make a rockin' list. Start everything with a list. Come up with a list of bands in your area that can rock and roll with the best of them. The internet can come up with numerous hits or you can scour your local newspaper for any ad or mention of bands. Shorten your list to a few bands which fit the bill and which you also can afford to hire.
Do a little check. Read feedback from previous clients. It also would not hurt to call some of them and inquire about the band's performance. A little insight from people who had experienced the band's performance will help a lot in making a rocking choice.
Watch them in action. See the goods first before you hire them. You can visit them in one of their gigs or you can watch video or audio samples they may have posted online. Whatever you do, don't hire them without seeing first how well they rock.
Remember, a great rock and roll band needs not be expensive. If you are a rock and roller yourself, trust your instinct and always choose a band that plays from the heart.

Loud Music at Weddings - What's the Point?
I know that I am going to be labeled as old-fashioned but having recently attended a wedding, I was bothered by the incredibly loud music. I have never understood loud music at bars; but, at a social gathering, like a wedding, why must we be subjected to sound at a level that makes any social interaction impossible? If you cannot be heard when you speak or are unable to hear the person talking to you, what is the point?
I would imagine that the answer lies in the fact that a lot of volume is needed for dancing. Why? Can you not dance just as well if the decibel level is somewhat lower? This is not a complaint about the X or the Y Generations because it was the Baby Boomers who started this trend.
What the loud music does is tire the listeners. Fighting to be heard or straining to hear takes work. It takes energy. And, after several hours of being bombarded with a volume level that is more than uncomfortable, you will have a sore throat from yelling, ears that are in pain, and quite possibly a headache.
The problem with loud music over an extended period of time is that it damages the ears. Those fine hairs in your ears, known as cilia, do not grow back. Once they are gone, they are gone. Without the cilia, you have no hearing. Of course, you can resort to hearing aids once the damage is done. Rest assured, with hearing aids, the voice you are hoping to hear sitting next to you will be heard as well as the amplification of every other incidental sound or noise in your surroundings.
Those who work in loud environments wear headphones to cut out the noise, be it at airports, factories, or out in the street. The decibel level for a jackhammer, for example, is 100 while the decibel level for a rock concert is 120. If those in our streets working with jackhammers wear headphones for 100 decibels in order to preserve their hearing, why must we be subjected to deafening music at decibel levels beyond that?
Common sense is becoming less and less common in our society today. To be subjected to deafening music for several hours at a time is certainly one of those situations where common sense does not rule.

Songs About Death - How Music Can Help You Cope With Your Grief
Hymns, poetry, music and favourite pieces of writing all feature in our thoughts after someone has died. Songs about death and mourning are something we are all forced to consider if we have any part in organising a funeral. Some reach for anthologies of poetry to find a favourite poem or a suitable reading. Many will turn to their favourite music or to the favourite music of the deceased. Whether or not this music features songs about death, or was just a favourite tune does not matter. The emotions can be stirred and help in our process of mourning.
First there may be times when we just want music to stir our own outpouring of grief. The right song might have lyrics that seem to understand how we feel and feeds our grief. The right tune may empathise with our sorrow.
Second there may be times when we want music which will be all about remembering the bereaved. Particular songs will have particular messages for individuals. There will be memories of times together. As the music is listened to initially in our bereavement, these songs main be painful as they trigger the acute sense of loss. Then as we hear them more, the acute sense of loss may fade and memories of the life together will be awakened.
Third there can be music will simply creates a mood. Musicians and composers know how to create a mood and we will all know our favourite songs to listen to at certain times. We can use these songs to help us through our mourning sometimes to change moods.
Finally, there will be songs that are simply and genuinely happy songs. Even in the deepest of depressions, feel-good songs cannot help but make us feel exactly that. We may not be ready for these in acute grief, but as time presses on, we may feel we need these as we find we need to rediscover ourselves in our new life without the one we loved.
Listening to songs about death and mourning may seem at first to be a little morbid, but in reality music can help us through our grief.
